Senior Restoration Engineer
Edward Brencis is a specialist in analyzing, evaluating, and restoring concrete and steel structures. Whether working on parking garages, balconies, warehouse floor slabs, or precast panels, he thrives on the challenge of correcting structural failures. From initial inspections to specifications and contract administration, Ed works closely with building owners and management staff to ensure long-lasting durability of their real estate assets. His experience as a former manager of a CSA-certified concrete testing laboratory is a great advantage.
Ed received his Bachelor of Applied Science (civil engineering) from the University of Toronto and is a Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario. He joined Sigmund Soudack & Associates in 2000.
Enrique Tabak PEng
Before joining Sigmund Soudack & Associates in 2009, Enrique Tabak worked on projects around the world for many of Canada's largest engineering firms. Precision, economy, practicality, and teamwork are the themes that consistently propel him towards design excellence. His research into innovative engineering solutions has been published internationally.
Enrique received a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master and Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Technion (Israel Institute of Technology) in Haifa, Israel. He is a Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, American Concrete Institute, and American Society of Civil Engineers.
